Shot Types for Media Production

For the preliminary task that we have been set we are going to be using a number of shot types and editing techniques.

Shot Types

Establishing shot - to set the scene, and introduce the two characters.
Medium Close Up shot - for the audience to see more detail of the characters.
Extreme Close Up, to show in detail and object in the street.
POV shot - to show the point of view of person B
Pan - to keep the movement in the scene going
Dutch Angle - to show that something in the scene is wrong, in this example that the wallet has fallen onto the floor.
